Information collected during registration

The registration process can be done either using the registration form on Adventoorer, or through Facebook or Google.

In the first case we ask for an email address, a password, a first name and a last name. In the other cases we collect what both Facebook and Google call “basic information”, which includes the email address, first name, last name, and some other basic information (such as gender, age range or profile picture) that has been indicated as public on those services.

In case of completing the registration with Facebook or Google, the account is created only if that service provides at least the email address, first name and last name, with the profile picture also being used if provided. In this case, the account is created without password, so to access it later through Adventoorer login it is necessary to set a password using the option to reset it.
